The characteristics of entrepreneurial success are applicable to more than starting a business; they can also inform and transform your personal and professional life from reactive and protective, to proactive and empowered.  This is how the elements of Entretude correspond to the characteristics of entrepreneurial success.

·         Understanding what impact things around you will have on your success as defined by Elements 1, 2 and 3, using the right balance of emphasis on the past, present and future


·         Knowing your external threats and opportunities

#5 Consistency

·         Having the ability to maintain a high standard of effort and effectiveness at using the Elements of Entretude to plan and implement your strategies and tactics


·         Sustaining internal effort for success

·         Delivering a reliable experience to your customer

#6 Collaboration

·         Understanding that success is not a solo effort or achievement; knowing how to reach out to other people and groups for mutual benefit

·         Developing mutually beneficial relationships with people and organizations inside and outside of your business

#7 Innovation

·         Using purposeful, focused creativity to enhance your ability to achieve your goals


·         Creating new opportunities to sustain and/or grow your business

#8 Responsibility

·         Persisting in personal and professional accountability

·         Being accountable to your stakeholders (employees, community, industry, etc.)
